First, make sure you’re actually there. Find out if customers are already talking about you on Yelp. If so, you can claim your businesses. If not, you need to add your business on Yelp first. It’s free, and super easy. No excuses.
Give the customer what they need
It’s vital that you list all your business details when you create your Yelp profile. A surprising number of profiles lack basic details such as opening hours, menus or phone numbers. This may put off potential customers.
Get someone from outside your business to check your profile to see if they feel fully informed after reading it.
Show, and tell
